Christmas is such a magical time of year. If you’re looking for a handmade, handwritten, personalised gift to add sparkle to someone’s Christmas then you’re in luck! These gifts are handwritten to order here in my workshop and the beauty of it being handwritten means it can say exactly what you want it to.
Making each heart follows a basic process. After two coats of Farrow and Ball paint, it is then sanded and buffed to a create a smooth finish, perfect for writing on. Next, I decorate the heart with words using my own Billiedoo font developed by me over the years. Everything I do is done by hand, I never use stamps or stencils. The heart is then given a coat of satin spray varnish to ensure the colours stay fresh and vibrant. Finally, it is tied with jute string and decorated with a ribbon bow.
Your heart will arrive through the post in an envelope box, like a love letter, but with a Scottish twist. Or you can choose to have the heart posted directly to the recipient, if you prefer. This can be done when checking out.
My aim is to give you as much flexibility and choice as possible, so you can get the personalised gift that you want, the way you want it.
