Description
A wedding anniversary is a special time and deserves a handmade, handwritten personalised gift such as this lovely heart. I hand make this gift to order in my workshop in beautiful Perthshire, Scotland. Because the gift is handwritten, it can say exactly what you want it to.
This gift is made from top grade birch veneered ply-wood. Making each heart follows a basic process. After two coats of Farrow and Ball paint, it is then sanded and buffed to a create a smooth finish perfect for writing on. Next, I decorate the heart with writing, using my own Billiedoo font, developed by me over the years. Everything is done by hand, I never use stamps or stencils. The heart is then given a coat of satin spray varnish, to ensure the colours stay fresh and vibrant. Finally, it is tied with jute string and decorated with a ribbon bow.
Your heart will arrive through the post in an envelope box, like a love letter, but with a Scottish twist. Or you can choose to have the heart posted directly to the recipient, if you prefer. This can be done when checking out.
